Solid pewter pin: a pineapple grenade whose shell bursts open on a skull. Two posts, hand-applied antique silver patina. Made in our workshop in France.
The grenade is a classic of military imagery, often worn as a tribute to those who served. In the biker world, it also speaks of a strong character, someone who won’t be pushed around. Here, the segmented shell breaks open on a skull: a nod to danger, looked straight in the eye.
Real relief
The grenade is sculpted in full volume, up to 8 mm thick at the centre, with its pin, ring and lever. Its edges are flat, so it sits flat against the leather, with no sharp edge sticking out or catching. The segments, the burst shell and the skull stand out under the patina.
Two fastening posts
At 32 mm tall, this pin is held by two posts: it stays straight and won’t spin on your vest. To make sure you never lose it on the road, try our locking pin backs (you’ll need two), which fit all our pins.
Handmade, piece by piece
Each pin is cast in solid pewter in our workshop, then given a hand-applied antique silver patina: no two are exactly alike.
In real life
Our photos already show the difference in finish compared with mass-produced pins. But they can’t convey the true relief or the weight of solid pewter: in your hand, the pin feels more substantial and looks even better than on screen.
