Article 1 – Seller and Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) govern all sales made on the website traveller-shop.com between:
- Traveller Shop, a craft business registered with the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Vaucluse (Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat) under number 347 696 650 RM 84, located at RD 900 – Quartier Madrid, 84750 Saint-Martin-de-Castillon, France – email: mail@traveller-shop.com (the “Seller”);
- and any natural or legal person placing an order on the website (the “Customer”).
The Customer acknowledges having read these Terms before placing an order and accepts them without reservation. They prevail over any other document, unless otherwise agreed in advance, expressly and in writing. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of the order.
Article 2 – Products
Traveller Shop designs and makes leather and metal accessories in its French workshop (pins, patches, bags, conchos, custom keys, belts, etc.). Products are described as accurately as possible. As these are handcrafted pieces, slight variations in colour, leather grain or patina may occur from one piece to another and do not constitute a defect. Photographs are not contractually binding.
Offers are valid while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible and may choose between a delayed delivery and a full refund of the amounts paid.
Article 3 – Prices
Prices are shown in euros, excluding delivery charges. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Delivery charges (packaging, handling and postage) are displayed before the order is finally confirmed.
The Seller may change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is confirmed.
For any delivery outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees charged by the destination country are payable by the Customer.
Article 4 – Orders
The Customer selects products, adds them to the cart, reviews the order details and total price, corrects any errors, then confirms the order and proceeds to payment. Confirming the order constitutes acceptance of these Terms. The Seller confirms acceptance of the order by email to the address provided by the Customer; the sale is concluded upon this confirmation.
Data recorded by the ordering system serves as proof of the nature, content and date of the order. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, in particular the delivery address.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute concerning payment of a previous order.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is due in full when the order is placed. The Customer may pay by bank card via the secure payment solutions SumUp (electronic money institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland, PCI-DSS certified) or PayPal (no PayPal account required). The Seller never has access to the Customer’s bank details.
Orders are prepared only once payment has been received. An invoice is included in the parcel or sent by email.
Article 6 – Delivery
Parcels are generally shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment, by La Poste (tracked Colissimo or tracked letter), delivered without signature. Delivery against signature is available for an additional fee: please contact us before ordering. Estimated transit time is about 3 working days within mainland France from dispatch; it is longer for other destinations.
If an order is delivered in several parts for availability reasons, the Customer pays delivery charges only once. Two separate orders cannot be combined: delivery charges apply to each. Delivery to two different addresses requires two orders.
The Customer is invited to check the parcel upon receipt and to report any damage or missing item to the carrier and the Seller, if possible within 48 hours. This recommendation does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.
For consumer Customers, the risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer only when they take physical possession of the products. If delivery is later than the announced date (or, failing that, more than 30 days after the order), the Customer may, after giving formal notice that remains unanswered, terminate the contract and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
Consumer Customers have 14 days from receipt of the products to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right, the Customer must inform the Seller of their decision by an unambiguous statement, by email to mail@traveller-shop.com or by post to Traveller Shop, RD 900 – Quartier Madrid, 84750 Saint-Martin-de-Castillon, France, where appropriate using the form below. Products must be returned new, complete and in their original packaging no later than 14 days after notification, to the same address. Return costs are borne by the Customer.
The Seller will refund all amounts paid, including the original delivery charges (based on the standard delivery method), within 14 days of being notified of the withdrawal. The refund may be withheld until the products have been received or until proof of return shipment has been provided. It is made using the same payment method as the original order.
The Customer may be held liable for any reduction in value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example: patch sewn on, pin or concho fitted, leather marked).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalised (in particular custom keys, letters and alphabets made to order, bespoke creations and fittings).

Article 8 – Legal Warranties
Independently of any commercial warranty, the Seller remains bound by the legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
Under the legal warranty of conformity, the consumer Customer has two years from delivery to take action. They may choose between repair and replacement, subject to the cost conditions laid down by law, and failing that, obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract. During the 24 months following delivery, the Customer does not have to prove that the defect existed.
Under the warranty against hidden defects, the Customer may, within two years of discovering the defect, choose between cancelling the sale and a price reduction.
Please send any claim to mail@traveller-shop.com, stating the order number and the nature of the defect (photos welcome). Reply within 48 working hours.
Article 9 – Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract caused by force majeure, the act of a third party or the act of the Customer, in particular an incorrect delivery address. The Seller is not liable for damage resulting from use or fitting of the products that does not comply with their intended purpose or the instructions provided. These limitations do not affect the consumer’s mandatory statutory rights.
Article 10 – Personal Data
The personal information requested when ordering is necessary to process, deliver and invoice the order. It is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is never passed on to third parties without the Customer’s consent, except to service providers needed to fulfil the order (payment, delivery).
The Customer has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port their data, which they may exercise by writing to mail@traveller-shop.com. They may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of their country of residence. Article 11 – Intellectual Property
The traveller-shop.com website, its texts, photographs, logos, the Traveller Shop® trademark and the models and designs of the creations shown are the exclusive property of Traveller Shop and are protected by copyright and industrial property law. Any reproduction or use, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.
Article 12 – Complaints
In the event of a problem, the Customer should first contact the Seller by email at mail@traveller-shop.com. Every complaint is carefully reviewed in order to find an amicable solution as quickly as possible.
Article 13 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive a consumer Customer residing in another European Union member state of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
Failing an amicable settlement, the consumer Customer may, at their choice, bring proceedings before the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or when the damage occurred, or before any other court with territorial jurisdiction. For business Customers, the courts within the jurisdiction of Avignon have exclusive jurisdiction.
