Maltese Cross Pin – Large in solid pewter, for your vest, jacket or saddlebag. 2 posts, hand-applied aged silver patina. Made in our family workshop in France.
The Maltese cross
This cross with flaring arms, which purists call a cross pattée, dates back to the orders of knighthood of the Middle Ages. In the biker world, under the name Maltese cross, it became a great classic from the 1950s onwards: a symbol of bravery and rebel spirit. It is also worn by firefighters as an emblem of courage. This large model also comes as a small model (22 mm / 0.87 in).
Two attachment points
At 48 mm (1.89 in) wide and 48 mm (1.89 in) high, this pin sits on two posts: it stays firmly in place on your vest. To make sure you never lose it on the road, try our locking pin backs (you’ll need two).
Handmade, piece by piece
In our family workshop, since 1989, every pin is cast in solid pewter in our own moulds, deburred by hand and given an aged silver patina. The patina brings out every detail of the relief, and pewter never rusts.
