Solid pewter pin: a Gothic cross adorned with knotwork and cabochons, with a skull medallion at its centre. Four posts, hand-applied antique silver patina. Made in our family workshop in France.
In the Middle Ages, goldsmiths adorned crosses with stones and cabochons: these were known as jewelled crosses. This cross carries the same spirit, with its cabochons, knotwork and fleur-tipped ends. At the centre, a skull medallion recalls the memento mori, “remember that you will die”: a medieval-inspired cross with true biker character.
Real relief
The cross is sculpted in full volume, up to 7 mm thick: the skull stands out from its medallion, the five cabochons are well domed, and the knotwork runs along the arms. Under the patina, the hollows darken and the raised parts catch the light, bringing out every motif.
Four fastening posts
At 55 mm tall, this pin is held by four posts: it stays perfectly straight and won’t move, even on the road. To make sure you never lose it, try our locking pin backs (you’ll need four), which fit all our pins.
Handmade, piece by piece
In our family workshop, since 1989, each pin is cast in solid pewter in our own moulds, deburred by hand, then patinated to give it the antique silver look that brings out every detail. No two are exactly alike.
In real life
Our photos already show the difference in finish compared with mass-produced pins. But they can’t convey the true relief or the weight of solid pewter: in your hand, the pin feels more substantial and looks even better than on screen.
