Swallow Pin in solid pewter, for your vest, jacket or saddlebag. 2 posts, hand-applied aged silver patina. Made in our family workshop in France.
The swallow
For sailors, a swallow tattoo meant 5,000 nautical miles at sea. Swallows always return to the same nest, so it also promised a safe return home. Old school tattooing made it a symbol of freedom, loyalty and luck. Our two swallows fly in opposite directions: wear them on either side of your vest, facing each other, like the classic chest tattoo.
Two attachment points
At 35 mm (1.38 in) wide and 30 mm (1.18 in) high, this pin sits on two posts: it stays firmly in place on your vest. To make sure you never lose it on the road, try our locking pin backs (you’ll need two).
Handmade, piece by piece
In our family workshop, since 1989, every pin is cast in solid pewter in our own moulds, deburred by hand and given an aged silver patina. The patina brings out every detail of the relief, and pewter never rusts.
