Round embossed leather patch (Ø 80 mm / 3.1 in) with a ring of skulls, to customise in the centre with our decorations: design, feathers and fringe, or no fringe. Choose the patch colour and the design, from 19 designs. Made in our workshop in France.
A ring of skulls, and your decoration in the centre
A round embossed leather patch, edged with a ring of skulls in relief. In the centre, you can customise the patch with our choice of decorations: design, feathers and fringe, or no fringe. You choose the patch colour (black and white, red and black, antique brown or black) and the design, from 19 designs. The photo changes with your choice: you see exactly the patch you will receive. Looks great in the middle of the back of a vest, on a jacket, a saddlebag or anywhere else you like.
19 designs for every riding style
With or without fringe
The patch comes plain (€20) or with its decoration (€30). The decoration is a pewter design on a leather washer, with two pewter feathers and black leather strips that move in the wind as you ride. A Traveller Shop classic.
Pre-punching option (+€5)
Sewing your patch on yourself, by hand, is the personal touch that makes all the difference on a vest. On a leather vest, you also need to punch the vest leather to pass the needle. With the pre-punching option, we punch holes around the patch in advance, one every 2 mm (0.08 in). The patch then becomes your template: glue it onto the vest with leather glue so it stays in place, punch the vest leather through its holes, and both line up perfectly. All that’s left is to sew with a saddle stitch, using two needles and waxed thread: it’s the strongest stitch for leather, and you’ll easily find a tutorial by searching “saddle stitch leather” on YouTube. For machine sewing, the unpunched patch is better.
Made in our workshop
In our family workshop, since 1989, our patches are cut from full-grain leather made especially for Traveller Shop by a French tanner, then embossed, and the pewter pieces are cast in our own moulds. And in real life, it looks even better than in the photo.
