Old Indians never die
“Old Indians never die”: a skull wearing a feather headdress, between two banners, finely detailed on a 69 mm (2.72 in) pewter disc. For the back of a vest, a saddlebag, a seat, or to customise your patches.
With or without a leather washer
Take it on its own, or mounted on a red, black or white leather washer (+€5). The washer, cut from 1.6 mm (0.06 in) full-grain leather shoulder, frames the metal, makes it stand out and protects the leather of your vest. It is fixed at four points with the rivets supplied.
Fitted in a few minutes
The leather washer doubles as a template: place it where you want it on your vest, mark the leather through its holes, then punch at the marks. Push the motif’s pins through the washer and the vest, fit the supplied rivets onto the pins, and one blow of the hammer sets everything. Without a washer it is even simpler: place the motif where you want it and press firmly; the pins leave their marks on the leather, showing you exactly where to punch.
Handmade, piece by piece
In our family workshop, since 1989, each piece is cast in solid pewter in our own moulds, deburred by hand and given an antique silver patina. The patina brings out every detail of the relief, and pewter never rusts. And in real life, it looks even better than in the photo.
