Large Mandala Leather Patch with Centre Rivet

A large mandala for the back of your vest
A large embossed leather patch, 219.6 mm point to point: a mandala in relief, in four colours: white, red, aged brown or black. The mandala is sold with its centre decoration.

The centre rivet
In the centre of the mandala we mount the rivet of your choice, from 16 designs: V-Twin engine, wolf, turquoise or onyx conchos, rose, Live Free Ride Hardcore, Lady Biker, heart and rose, skulls, mandala… The rivets are cast in solid pewter with an old-silver patina. Two versions: the rivet on its leather washer, or the rivet with feather and fringes. Price: €85 with the rivet, €90 with rivet, feather and fringes, whatever the design.

Pre-punching option (+€5)
Sewing your patch on by hand is the personal touch that makes all the difference on a vest. On a leather vest, you also have to pierce the vest leather to pass the needle. With the pre-punching option, we punch the edge of the patch in advance, with a hole every 2 mm. The patch then becomes your template: glue it onto the vest with leather glue so it stays in place, pierce the vest through its holes, and both are perfectly aligned. All that’s left is to sew with a saddle stitch, using two needles and waxed thread: it’s the strongest stitch for leather, and you’ll easily find a tutorial by searching “leather saddle stitch” on YouTube. For machine sewing, the unpunched patch is the better choice.

Made in our workshop
In our family workshop, since 1989, our patches are cut from full-grain leather made especially for Traveller Shop by a French tanner, then embossed. On the photo the relief barely shows: in real life the design stands out clearly, and the patch looks even better.
