The sheriff’s star
The word comes from the old English shire-reeve: the king’s man in charge of keeping order in a county. The star itself was born in the Wild West, on the chests of those who upheld the law… or defied it.

Two attachment points
At 30 mm (1.18 in) in diameter, this pin sits on two posts: it stays firmly in place on your vest. To make sure you never lose it on the road, try our locking pin backs (you’ll need two).

Handmade, piece by piece
In our family workshop, since 1989, every pin is cast in solid pewter in our own moulds, deburred by hand and given an aged silver patina. The patina brings out every detail of the relief, and pewter never rusts.
