Conchos & Decorations

Conchos, designs, decorations: on a biker vest, they're the finishing touch. Ours are solid pewter, cast in our family workshop since 1989, then hand-patinated in aged silver to bring out every detail of the relief. You won't find them anywhere else.

Concho or design?

People often call any metal decoration on leather a "concho". Strictly speaking, a concho is the piece you thread a leather lace through. Designs, on the other hand, are fixed with rivets. You'll find both here.

Compared to a pin?

Once fitted, decorations, conchos and designs leave the back perfectly flat inside the vest. Nothing to snag your sweater or t-shirt, nothing to bother you when you're sitting on the bike. The right choice for a permanent decoration.

What you'll find here

  • Fringe Conchos: the great Traveller Shop classic, the one that made our name. Each concho is mounted on a leather disc specific to the model, with hanging leather fringes and feathers attached. They move in the wind as you ride. You spot them from afar: two or three on a vest, and it instantly has character.
  • Conchos for Laces: they hold the side lacing of the vest. You also find them on classic saddlebags, but often of average quality: ours replace them and give your bags real character.
  • Rivet Designs: the equivalent of our pins, but fixed for good with a rivet. Some models come in both versions. The smallest ones are only made as pins, as a rivet version is technically not feasible.
  • Rivet Decorations: wings, emblems and larger designs, for the back of a vest or a saddlebag flap.
  • Screw-on Alphabet: to spell your name, your club or your engine size.
  • Leather Laces: 4 mm (0.16 in) wide and 3 mm (0.12 in) thick, strong enough to hold your conchos on the road.

Our customers' favorites: fringed rivet designs, especially the skulls and the blue bead models.

Easy to fit

Rivets are supplied in pairs, with one rivet length for thin leather and one for thick leather. Use the one that suits your vest or saddlebag. Our fitting videos on YouTube show you how, step by step, no saddler skills needed.

Vests, belts, saddlebags, seats, boots or hats: you can put them anywhere. But it's on a leather vest that they really come into their own.
